... and why video animation comes out on top. We take video for granted. It’s everywhere, or so it seems. We only have to watch a child mesmerised by their favourite cartoon – or an adult transfixed by a video game or streamed movie - to recognise the power of the moving image. 1.Video is entertaining and engaging It’s immediate. Few forms of communication can pack quite so much into such a short space of time. Think about what’s included: moving images, words, music. Video informs, but it also sparks our curiosity and taps into our emotions. According to Forbes Magazine, “The average internet user spends 88% more time on a website with video than without.” Other telling data includes 70% of marketing professionals reporting that video converts better than any other medium, and that 64% of consumers are more likely to buy a product after watching a video about it. Using the word “Video” in an email subject line boosts open rates by 19% and click-through rates by 65%. 69% of smartphone users say videos are perfect for smartphone viewing. It’s a quick way to grasp an overview of a product. And now consider this: over half of online searches are on mobile and over 40% of online transactions are on mobile devices. Only Google has a higher search volume than YouTube. Why would we not use video? 2.Video delivers your key messages fast and effectively. Video is memorable. It helps us understand information and visualise ideas. And, if it’s a well-made video, it does this very quickly and with high levels of retention. This is just as true for ‘explainer’ videos as it is for up-front advertising, along with the various shades of marketing in between. Consequently, video leads the viewer more quickly and more effectively towards the point of contact and purchase than simple text on a page, no matter how persuasive the writing. 3. Video is versatile Increasingly video is used on websites to capture and project a business’s key offering. Video is popular with users because it is visual and immediate – and easy to watch. So, for a business it makes sense to interact with its audience in a format that the audience likes. However, video is not just for websites. It’s hugely popular on platforms like Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest and, increasingly, on LinkedIn. If you offer business-to-business service, this is not to be missed. Video animation: the ace up your marketing sleeve. Perceived cost can put people off video. People, equipment, staging and studio time can, indeed, be costly. With video animation, however, the video animation maker has more control. You can create exactly what’s needed, with precisely the message required and special effects to match. DIY video animation software can be useful, but it’s easy to spot in the finished product, which tends to have less impact. With custom video animation it’s easier to hit the sweet spot. Original video animation can have stunning levels of realism, and the whole digital environment can be shaped to a specific purpose. And if you’re still not persuaded… l’ve just replaced the screen on my laptop with the help of - yes, you guessed – an animated video, on my phone… To catch a glimpse of some our own work check out our latest compilation, which showcases a whole range of possibilities: - #videoanimation #videoanimationsoftware #customvideoanimation #videoanimationmaker

This is a very insightful blog. It confirms my online behaviour when browsing websites for information. I tend to subconsciously spend more time on websites with videos as this helps breakdown information into digestible chunks.

Very insightful Phil. It really demonstrates the power of video! Having seen several of your video productions I can highly recommend that for individuals and companies that are without animation or video on their websites to get in touch with Phil.
