National Fishing Month has got me wondering what hooks YOU more business
It’s National Fishing Month (running from 26th July until 1st September) and it got me wondering what you do to fish for your clients.
(I can only apologise for the following paragraph – our copywriter’s obviously got sunstroke.)
Let’s mullet over. Do you carp on about your accomplishments on social media? Do you plaice ads – to the tuna thousand squid? Does not a sole reply? Is no one herring you? Is your message not getting trout there? Is your online presence turbot charged? Do you perch on Facebooks feeds, or flex your mussels on LinkedIn? Do you join online groupers? That can be brill. The world’s your oyster. Or do you sometimes flounder? Does it make you tench? Is it all a load of old pollocks. Do you sometimes think, oh for cod’s hake…… When you ask your prospects questions, do they just clam up? Do you sense they have Captain Mainwaring at their shoulder, saying, “Don’t tell him, Pike”?
What can you do to get them to digest your messages – hook, line and sinker?
